How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in the Dinary app:
- Go to Profile.
- Tap the ⋮ (three dots) menu.
- Tap "Delete account", then follow the prompts.
If you can't get into the app, email founder@dinary.net from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm it's you first.
Once your request is confirmed, we delete or de-identify your account and the personal information linked to it, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deactivating your account is not the same as deleting it.
If you have a subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple ID settings (see below). Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel it.
How do I report a post or user?
To report a post in the Dinary app:
- Open the post.
- On the dish page, tap the ••• (three dots) next to the username.
- Tap "Report post".
To report a user in the Dinary app:
- Go to their profile.
- Tap the ⋮ (three dots) menu.
- Tap "Report user", then follow the prompts.
To block a user so you no longer see their content:
- Go to their profile.
- Tap the ⋮ (three dots) menu.
- Tap "Block user", then follow the prompts.
If you can't report something in the app, or it needs urgent attention, email founder@dinary.net with the username and a screenshot or description of the post. Our Terms and Conditions explain what isn't allowed on Dinary.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, so changes are made in your Apple ID settings rather than in the Dinary app.
- On your iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then choose Dinary.
- Change your plan or tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
How do I claim my restaurant's page?
If you own or manage a restaurant, you can claim your free page on Dinary. Fill in the form on our For restaurants page and someone from the team will reach out.
